Our core values are based upon upfront and honest relationships, we treat everyone with compassion and respect and we do what we say we are going to do.
We know legal jargon can be confusing and overwhelming, so we keep you informed in plain English and involved in every step of the way.
Wendy is a caring and dedicated lawyer practising solely in family law. Wendy is highly experienced in all facets of family law, including complex parenting and property matters and intervention orders, having completed a Master in Applied Law (Family Law).
Wendy was admitted to practice in 2015 and has dedicated much of her career to family law; however, early in her career, she also dabbled in criminal law and business law.
Wendy maintains a particular interest in property matters with complex corporate structures and tax related issues.
Wendy enjoys talking to her clients, describing this as one of the most rewarding aspects of her career: Everyone is different. I get an incredible glimpse into my clients’ lives and the wide variety of experiences and emotions they encounter before and after separation. I find it very fulfilling to guide clients safely through the entire journey of relationships and separation, whether it be asset protection such as drafting a financial agreement in anticipation of or during a marriage or a de facto relationship; or navigating court proceedings and making it as straightforward and unscary as possible for them.
Wendy is upfront and honest and aims to minimise the time and costs incurred to resolve family law disputes. Wendy believes that legal fees should be proportionate and fair to the client, and utilising alternative dispute resolution methods helps achieve this.
Wendy has a strong sense of social justice and currently volunteers for the Fitzroy Legal Service and is a member of the Victoria Legal Aid Independent Children’s Lawyer Panel.
When Wendy is not a work, she is a mother to 3 girls and enjoys spending time with friends and family. Wendy is a Richmond local and enjoys trying new restaurants and cafes in and around Richmond.
